Gaming Ordtopsy #1: Bioshock
Gaming Ordtopsy is a series of video docs by Mark Ord. Each one will take an intense and deep look into one of the greatest video games ever made. This first one focuses on Bioshock and features interview footage with developers, concept art and many key narrative scenes, all given focus and form by Mark’s narration.
It’s a long one and once you get into it you’ll realise why. Mark has an attention to detail rivaling the best episodes of Digital Gonzo and this one is deserving of your attention. Pull up a chair, grab a drink and a snack and explore Rapture once again.
If you’ve not played Bioshock then pretty much the entire plot is discussed, so bear that in mind before watching. This was designed with non-players in mind too and some people may be surprised at how much complexity can be crammed into a single shooting game. If you love Extra Credits, Cane and Rinse or Digital Gonzo then you will be right at home.
I absolutely fully an utterly endorse the quality of this new series and am so very proud to present it on Gonzo Planet. Each one takes months to make so there will only be one or two more in 2013, but I will be eagerly awaiting the next (find out what that is at the end of the video).
