While Digital Gonzo is on hiatus rather than leaving you folks with empty iPods I’m going to be periodically releasing episodes from my first podcast; Digital Cowboys, which ran for 209 episodes from 2007-2011. This gives me a rather splendid backlog of some frequently excellent shows to reintroduce to newcomers and remind long-time fans of this work that myself and my co-host throughout that show Tony Atkins are justifiably proud of.

Guests: James Perkins and Darren Gargette (at the time hailing from the I Don’t Know Fucking Anything Podcast, currently of the GameBurst and Cane and Rinse podcasts respectively) and Matt Ramsey (Then of nothing much, currently of the Do Try This at Home podcast, also on hiatus, possibly cancelled, we don’t know.)

This one is all about the twenty lamest video game characters. Each is in danger of being thrown into the metaphorical fiery pit of Room 101. Tony and my guests job is to play devil’s advocate, should they wish to keep these wretched creatures liberated from oblivion a little longer. Some are lazily or cynically designed, some are irritating, some are just plain offensive. Ultimately every instance will come down to a five man vote.
